User Reviews
I have been using WhiteBit for almost 5 years now, mainly for trading. When I started, it was a simple exchange with just spot and margin trading. Today it grew into a full crypto platform with many different features and services. It is really nice to see this kind of progress.During all this time I had no serious problems. Sometimes there were small bugs in the interface, but they always got fixed pretty fast. All my deposits and withdrawals went through without any issues and always in good time. One thing I appreciate is how the platform gives you useful tips and warnings at the right moments. It helped me avoid some mistakes, especially in the beginning. And it never feels like too much information, just what you actually need.As a trader, I mostly use spot and futures. The futures section improved a lot over the years. Most of the features I wanted are already there now. The only thing I am still waiting for is trailing stop. I hope it comes soon. The information panel is also something I want to mention. Every exchange has something under the chart, but WhiteBit has the most useful version of it. The thing I appreciate the most is cumulative position funding. I have not seen it on other platforms and it is something I always miss when I trade elsewhere.Overall, WhiteBit feels honest and straightforward. No hidden tricks, no confusing things, just a clean platform that works. It is my main trading platform now and I think it will stay that way for a long time.
As small crypto trader (turnover 10-20k per year) never had issues with whitebit.High earn yields but a bit limited. My favorite tool is sepa withdraw.Within 2-3 years of usage didn't noticed something wrong.
Using WhiteBit for more than 2 years, mostly for holding asstets, not trading. WhiteBit provides one of the best interest rates for fixed deposit (if your country supports this feature)
I have moved a good portion of my portfolio to WhiteBIT recently, and I’m really impressed! The UI is exceptionally clean it has that minimalist "EU" feel that makes it feel professional and high-end, rather than cluttered like many other exchangesTwo things really stand out for me:Convert: It’s my go-to for quick swaps. It’s instant and saves me the hassle of setting up manual orders when I’m in a hurry and it's please to use it daily.Earn: The interest rates on their lending options are surprisingly high compared to the bigger platforms. It’s been a great way to earn passive income on my assets unlike my web3 experience. It’s a smooth, no-nonsense experience. If you appreciate good design and want your crypto to be safe than this is a good place for you and your assets
You deposit fast when the accounts are of the same name. And it takes me 5 days to get a solution for my situation with two surnames. It exhausts really.
All cool, but I don’t see a feature like contacts book to save wallets I often transfer to. This increases risk of making error. Would be good to have such a feature
Top Alternatives

Top pick for security-conscious traders with an unmatched compliance record.

Unbeatable for altcoin hunters. Lower trust scores keep it from the top tier.

The safest entry point into crypto. High fees mean active traders should look elsewhere.

Decent for niche altcoin traders. Lacks the liquidity and brand trust of larger rivals.

Best for early-stage token hunters. Higher fees and complexity limit broader appeal.

Strong pick for traders who want to mirror top performers automatically.
WhiteBIT Review
WhiteBIT has established itself as a notable European cryptocurrency exchange since its launch in 2018, catering primarily to traders seeking regulated digital asset services within the European market. Founded with a focus on compliance and user security, this platform has grown steadily to serve hundreds of thousands of users across multiple jurisdictions. The exchange positions itself as a bridge between traditional European banking systems and the cryptocurrency ecosystem, offering seamless integration with SEPA bank transfers and maintaining strict adherence to European regulatory frameworks. While it may not command the same global recognition as industry giants like Binance or Coinbase, the platform has carved out a respectable niche by prioritizing regulatory compliance and user-friendly design over rapid international expansion.
This comprehensive WhiteBIT exchange review examines all critical aspects potential users should consider before choosing this platform for their cryptocurrency trading needs. The evaluation covers essential factors including security measures, fee structures, available trading products, mobile application functionality, and overall user experience. We assess the platform's strengths in European regulatory compliance and SEPA integration against potential limitations such as lower global liquidity and fewer trading pairs compared to larger competitors. This review aims to provide balanced insights that help traders determine whether the exchange aligns with their specific trading requirements and geographic location.
Our WhiteBIT crypto exchange review reveals that this platform primarily targets European traders who value regulatory compliance and traditional banking integration over extensive altcoin selections or ultra-low fees. The exchange particularly appeals to users who prioritize security and prefer dealing with a platform that maintains clear legal standing within European jurisdictions. Intermediate to advanced traders seeking futures trading capabilities will find adequate tools, though professional traders accustomed to deeper liquidity might find the platform somewhat limiting. Beginners benefit from the clean interface design and straightforward onboarding process, especially those located in regions where SEPA transfers provide convenient fiat funding options.
The WhiteBIT exchange operates with a moderate scale compared to industry leaders, supporting over 400 cryptocurrency listings and serving users across multiple European countries and beyond. The platform processes substantial daily trading volumes, though these figures remain significantly lower than top-tier exchanges, which can impact liquidity for larger trades. Market depth varies considerably across different trading pairs, with major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum maintaining reasonable liquidity while smaller altcoins may experience wider spreads. The exchange supports both spot and derivatives trading, alongside additional services like staking, peer-to-peer trading, and various funding methods tailored to European users.
This WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange overview highlights a comprehensive product suite designed to meet diverse trading needs while maintaining regulatory compliance. The platform offers standard spot trading across hundreds of cryptocurrency pairs, futures trading with competitive leverage options, and staking services for earning passive income on supported assets. Users can access peer-to-peer trading functionality for direct cryptocurrency purchases and sales, while the integrated SEPA support enables efficient Euro deposits and withdrawals. Additional features include advanced order types, API access for algorithmic trading, and educational resources for newcomers to cryptocurrency trading.
WhiteBIT fees follow a competitive structure within the European cryptocurrency exchange landscape, though they sit slightly above the lowest-cost alternatives available globally. Spot trading carries a standard 0.10% fee for both makers and takers, which can be reduced through higher trading volumes or holding the platform's native token. Futures trading offers more attractive pricing at 0.03% fees, making derivatives trading relatively cost-effective for active traders. Withdrawal fees vary by cryptocurrency but generally align with industry standards, while SEPA bank transfers often provide free or low-cost fiat withdrawal options for European users. The platform occasionally offers promotional fee discounts for new users or during special trading events.
WhiteBIT futures trading provides access to leveraged cryptocurrency derivatives with up to 20x leverage on major trading pairs, though leverage limits vary by asset and user verification level. The platform supports perpetual futures contracts for popular cryptocurrencies, utilizing funding rates that typically align with broader market conditions. Futures liquidity remains adequate for most retail trading needs, though institutional traders or those executing large orders may encounter slippage during volatile market periods. The futures interface integrates seamlessly with the main trading platform, offering standard order types and risk management tools expected by derivatives traders.
The WhiteBIT app delivers a solid mobile trading experience that mirrors most desktop functionality while maintaining user-friendly navigation optimized for smaller screens. Available for both iOS and Android devices, the application maintains a 4.2-star average rating across app stores, reflecting generally positive user feedback regarding stability and feature completeness. Mobile users can execute spot and futures trades, manage staking positions, access peer-to-peer markets, and monitor portfolio performance through detailed charts and analytics. Push notifications keep traders informed of price movements and order executions, while biometric security options provide convenient yet secure account access.
Users interested in mobile trading can WhiteBIT download the official application through Apple's App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets. The download process follows standard procedures, requiring users to search for the official WhiteBIT application and verify the developer credentials to avoid fraudulent versions. New users can register accounts directly through the mobile application, though full verification and higher withdrawal limits typically require document submission and approval. Getting started involves completing basic identity verification, enabling two-factor authentication, and funding accounts through supported deposit methods before beginning cryptocurrency trading activities.
